Aerial Sequence a New Video by Barbara Borck-Hart

April 4, 2014

We are back under the big top, its dark, a spotlight appears illuminating a lone aerialist.
She is inverted, feet in the air , suspended above me with only a long piece of white fabric wrapped around herself stopping her descent to the ground. She arches her back and releases one leg from the folds of the fabric. Up she goes into a sitting position and slides down the fabric as if it was a single piece of rope. Next she twirls around herself and lands in a perfect dismount.
How I wish I was brave enough to do this myself.
Enjoy her travels.

The Aerialist Full Split a New Video by Barbara Borck-Hart

Overhead watch an aerialist preform. The tension created by her body with its taught muscles and the flowing fabric suspend her in midair. She seems to float high above the ground. She is preforming for you hoping you will enjoy the show.

The Circus Under the Big Tent in Milford, CT by Barbara Borck-Hart

January 7, 2014

Myself and many small children visited a traveling circus. This circus visits the East Coast all summer long and winters in Florida. Once inside with everything dark, your attention is totally focused on the three rings. The spotlight comes on and you give yourself totally to the magic you are about to witness.
The performers are wonderful, presenting you with feats of strength, endurance and spectacle. They take you to the edge of your seat as you witness them float above you with such great ease.
An intermission arrives and you can walk about and talk with the performers which gives them a name and face to remember.
Enjoy the circus and believe in magic.

A Visit to Colorscape Music Festival in London by Babara Borck-Hart

November 19, 2013

In September I visited the Colorscape Music Festival in Clapham Commom, London. The colorscape structure was designed by Peter Jones ( note name correction) and Lynne Dickens. This temporary structure was designed for the appreciation of music and other performances. It provides a unique listening space for contemporary music.
It was alot of fun to visit and participate in. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
